Solidar at the Salon de l’Education, 22-25 Nov, Paris

Solidar will again be present at the Salon de l’Education in Paris. Organised by French member La Ligue de l’Enseignement, the Salon de l'Education is a yearly event uniting actors in the area of education for four days to exhibit their work and latest developments in the area of education. Solidar will be present with a stand and a series of talks on the topic of Decent Work. These sessions will explore several aspects of Decent Work and particularly how young people are affected. Participants will include this year’s Silver Rose Award Winner, the Réseau de l’Education sans Frontières as well as the French student organization Generation Précaire.

During the Salon, the Solidar Education Committee will also meet. Linking the Committee to the Salon will give participants the opportunity to explore for themselves the Salon de l’Education and to make valuable contacts with other actors in the field of education.

In addition, the European Education Platform, EUCIS-LLL (of which Solidar is a member) will dedicate the second day of the Salon, Friday 23 November, to Europe and the EU. The day will include various activities surrounding the topic of Europe, including an international conference on the autonomy of European universities.
