Thematic Liaison Forum on Jobs and Skills

SOLIDAR was invited by the European Commission's DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion to present its project "Promoting the Agenda for New Skills and Jobs: Strengthening individual learning pathways by developing skills assessment tools for workers" on 21 May to social partners at the quarterly-organised Thematic Liaison Forum.

The main objective of this meeting was to take stock of EU policy developments in the field of skills forecasting and tackling skills mismatches and to discuss the involvement of social partners and relevant stakeholders in the process. SOLIDAR and its partners' endeavors in the field of strengthening individual learning pathways by developing skills assessment tools for workers were positively received by stakeholders present at the meeting.
